Emergency Action Planning
The Emergency Action Planning Course reviews the requirements of OSHA Emergency Action Plan (EAP) Standard (29 CFR 1901.38), which facilitates and organizes employer and employee actions during workplace emergencies. In the event of a fire, tornado, flood or even a terrorist attack, would your employees know what to do-- where to go? This course is the first step in developing emergency plans and proper employee training (such that employees understand their roles and responsibilities within the plan) will result in fewer and less severe employee injuries and less structural damage to the facility during emergencies. Failure to plan -- is a plan to fail! A poorly prepared plan, likely will lead to a disorganized evacuation or emergency response, resulting in confusion, injury, and property damage.
