Understanding Hot Work Tasks

This course will define hot work and identify some of the hidden hazards associated with performing hot work tasks. Hot work introduces physical and health hazards into the workplace so it is important to learn fire prevention methods through good housekeeping measures and storage of flammable liquids. The new worker should be shown the processes that generate hot work in the home area and how to ensure their work area is safe to perform this hot work at all times. This ecourse meets the requirements outlined in Altec's Standard C-S-SFE-020.
