Hazard Communication Safety

Learners will know the differences between physical and health hazards related to chemicals used in Altec processes, be able to identify parts of chemical labels, how to retrieve an SDS and how to respond to possible exposures. The new worker should be shown where chemicals are stored, labeling of chemical containers, access to SDS database and learn the process for transferring to secondary containers if required. This ecourse meets the requirements outlined in Altec's Standard C-S-SFE-007.
